SwordfishExpress (Original) is our freeware USPS Label Generator. SwordfishExpress lets you print mailing labels without postage that the conform to United States Postal Service regulations.

If this is your first time using SwordfishExpress and you're in a hurry to print some shipping labels here are some quick instructions.

First, make sure you are connected to the Internet.

Fill out the "From" information as appropriate. This info will stick between your different shipping sessions so you won't have to enter it again.

StandardizeClick "Standardize From" in the toolbar to standardize your address to USPS specifications.

Fill out the recipient information in the "To" area.

If you are not satisfied with the changes made you can change the addresses however this may result in your package not being deliverable as addressed.

USPSYou have three choices for service: Priority Mail, First Class and Media Mail. Delivery Confirmation is free only with Priority Mail.

Choose your ship date which is the day you will give your package to the post office either in a mail box or at the counter window.

moneyYour confirmation type will usually be Delivery Confirmation unless you want a signature at delivery, this is $1.30 more.

Leave Sample Label checked for now and click "Ship". After your label has been generated, the main window will grow and you can hit "View" to see a preview of your label or "Print" to print it. This is only a sample but feel free to print it to make sure everything looks ok.

barcode If everything checks out, uncheck "Sample Label" and click "Ship" and an actual label will be generated. Print it, attach it to your package, and you are ready to go!

Be sure not to place tape over the barcode, as it may not scan and it may not show as delivered.
