A striking print featuring a duotone photograph and hand drawn abstract typography in gold. The figure holds a sprouting sweet potato which interlaces with a net of graphic elements below. An integration of earth/body elements with its abstract/symbolic counterparts echo its use of print, photography and type, resulting in a beautifully enigmatic dream image.
Tae was in the seminal 90s indie rock band Kicking Giant. He has designed record covers for bands as diverse as Built to Spill and Lois Maffeo.
He has worked on book covers, posters and other punk rock ephemera.
