Our friends down the street at Tugboat Press have been putting out great comics for years; good stories featuring wonderful underexposed artists.
Papercutter #12 is the latest issue in Tugboat Press's award-winning anthology series dedicated to showcasing the best young, underexposed and emerging comic book artists.
This issue features a thrilling story written by Rachel Bormann (Cakewalk) and illustrated by Eisner Award winning artist Nate Powell (Swallow Me Whole) about a father and daughter who attend a Carlos Santana concert and get an eye full of the man himself.
This issue also features a back up story by Joey Alison Sayers (Just So You Know) about a comic strip that refuses die. And Mark Campos & Dalton Webb (Moxie, My Sweet) team up to tell an intriguing tale of a fortune teller who helps the lonely hearted.
