9 Weeks

A Documentary

9 Weeks hopes to be a movie which presents portraits of performers, artists, and radicals in their living and work surrounding, using archival footage, home videos of acts, and current video interviews -- creating a multifaceted portrait of a unique town and it's remarkable inhabitants.

Like the gray luminous clouds and old decrepit; yet beautiful buildings of downtown Olympia, 9 Weeks offers an insight to a vision of community forged in a dead end logging and state capital of Washington.

Individuals fighting to keep their community alive: performers, radicals, and artists barely getting by.

Price: $1.99

"I hope this movie touches upon the common chords of human experience, which binds all community together. Hopefully a profound picture will emerge of extraordinary people and their extraordinary way of life. Olympia and it's tenants have yet to be given an in-depth dissection of their lives that looks beyond the sensational. Hopefully the stories, artwork, and personalities of these individuals, many of whom have been working for years at their hobbies, crafts, and passions, offer an invaluable insight into the Olympia community and the quickly fading appreciation of art, music, and this way of life."
