McSweeney's

McSweeney's Quarterly Concern

Issues 1-3

Let's take it back to the basement.

Or in this case a tiny little shared office in San Francisco back in 1998.

For it was there, way back in the day, where the first Timothy McSweeney's Quarterly Concern was published. Proving that magazines didn't have to be thin, glossy and be packed full of pictures to be interesting.

These are the first three issues, exactly as originally published, warts and all.

The first issue contains only works rejected by other magazines, but two and three they begin to include pieces written with McSweeney’s in mind.
