A powder blue flower pattern (from a vintage kimono) is silkscreened onto a big piece of clear glass, which is then layered over transparent red-orange glass and fused.
After it's annealed and cooled, the individual pendants are cut on a diamond saw, then put back into the kiln to fire polish the edges.
Tiny holes are drilled for the sterling silver jump rings, then it's hung from a 1.5mm sterling silver 'rolo' chain to which are attached 2" of adjustable links at the end to assure it can be worn at different necklines.
This pendant measures approximately 5/8" at the bottom by 3" tall — tapered gently to the top, and are 1/4" thick.
Please note that these pendants are cut from one large design, and individual patterns and sizes will vary slightly.
