Written by Faythe Levine and Cortney Heimerl
Faythe stopped by and visited us as part of her 19,000 miles journey to document the cool stuff that's been going on all over the country as part of the handmade/craft/diy movement.
She, along with compatriot, Cortney Heimerl, have put together a great collection of artists and their stories. It's just a teaser of what's coming in the upcoming film.
Twenty-four artists from Olympia, Washington to Providence, Rhode Island, and everywhere in between show their work and discuss their lives.
"Handmade Nation" features photographs of the makers, their work environment, their process, their work, and discussions of how they got their start and what motivates them.
We're proud to represent several of the artists featured in the book.
