Hello! We haven't sent out a newsletter since December, so we hope everyone's 2009 has started off well. It has remained pretty busy in the warehouse, adding products and shipping orders. We've got a bunch of cool new items, including a brand new book by Cynthia Rylant and Nikki McClure that we think everyone should own a copy of, it's really amazing. It's technically a children's book, but we think people of all ages will like it. This newsletter features that book and over twenty other products by a mix of different, amazing, independent artists.
New Children's Book By Nikki McClure Nikki McClure has teamed up with Newberry Medal-winning Cynthia Rylant on an amazing new children's book. You know those books you loved as a kid, the ones with the big gold foil seal on the front? This could easily be one of those books. It's amazing. When the sun rises on a new day, it brings with it a new world of possibilities >>

When you print a project like Jill Bliss + Saelee Oh's annual calendar, there's bound to be copies that don't quite make it -- misprinted or otherwise damage pieces. There's something lyrical about Jill Bliss' new line of posters—you'll find yourself connected to that tiny city floating on the back of a turtle, for example, like a song that touches you long after it's stopped playing.

No One Belongs Here More Than You. Miranda July is pretty great. This collection of stories are immediate and distressing; confessionals and inner-thoughts spelled out in a tight, personal prose. It's fiction at its best. She lives in Los Angeles and is currently working on her second feature film. Miranda July: “You Obviously Know What I'm Talking About” >>
