DIY disco is the new hip-hop as skinny kids from coast to coast make a ruckus and paste a beat onto it. At the forefront of this spiny groove revolution is Die Monitr Batss, a Portland-based three-piece featuring Nathan from the Gossip on guitars and vocals. These worker bees bring us sweet, noisy nectar straight from the dancing queen bee.
Les Georges Leningrad are Montreal’s most notorious post-punks and are much beloved for their over the top stage shows and unique take on various genres including no wave, punk and electro sounds.
After years of being obsessed with each other, they finally agreed to get together and do a split seven-inch. Then, after years of intricate discussion, they finally got everything together, and now we present to you: Die Monitr Batsssss/Les Georges Leningrad split.
